Disciples of the Land
The Disciples of Hand need raw materials, which are obtained by the Disciples of the Land. These harvesters of nature's bounty utilize an array of tools in their work with all forms of plants and minerals. Their trade encompasses knowledge of all of Hydaelyn's natural resources, be it in a cultivated garden or the great outdoors. As a cornerstone of Eorzea's economy, their impact on her inhabitants can hardly be overstated.

Every Eorzean artisan owes their success to the hardworking harvesters of nature’s bounty. An adventurer would be wise to consider the benefits of learning these most humble of trades.
The botanists, fishers, and miners of this great land possess an unparalleled understanding of her natural resources. Utilizing techniques passed down through generations, they harvest the blessings of Hydaelyn. These adventurers are known as the Disciples of the Land.
To perform their trade, Disciples of the Land must first locate gathering points. Botanists search for mature trees, miners for mineral deposits, and fishers for bodies of water.
Depending on the region, a gathering point can yield up a wide variety of items. See what the land has to offer as you travel across Eorzea.
Botanists and miners rely upon their gathering logs to locate and record information about the resources they seek, while fishers rely on their own unique log.
With an ample supply of materials at their disposal, some of these adventurers choose to pursue artistic endeavors as well. However, these vital resources can also fetch a high price in Eorzea’s markets, and many Disciples of the Hand are more than happy to take advantage.
